For nearly 25 years we have described the Temple of the Creative Flame as a temple of the Goddess...a place for thinkers and lovers of life, building bridges through ceremony, ritual and dialogue within safe and sacred space. We've never focused on how many gathered. Rather, we have welcomed those who showed up in resonance with the ritual or the message at the time.
The call to community has long been for those with open minds and hearts to join us. Our call as Temple Priestesses and leaders remains focused on serving with compassionate minds and courageous hearts.
In the years since, our community and Temple priestesses have matched openness, courage and compassion with genuine intentionality and action. The magic has been palpable. We’ve made a difference: effecting good, nurturing love, relieving helplessness, and adding to joy and beauty in the world.
We have also engaged in many challenging conversations about faith, Paganism, feminism, and Goddess traditions. We've been visibly present in interfaith organizations and events from our beginning.

All of this will continue.
Now more than ever, we need spiritual communities that are safe and welcoming—places that honor diversity and revere the Earth as our Mother. From these communities rises guidance shaped by both reason and imagination, wisdom that helps pave the path ahead.
At this time the Temple of the Creative Flame reaffirms our presence to individuals and communities. We are not static nor based upon a particular tradition or dogma. Our foundation is Nature-based Spirituality and some aspects organically change depending upon community participation and needs. We believe that elemental, planetary, and natural energies are always present when we gather. How we engage or interact with those energies is the alchemy of community joining in prayer, celebration, reflection, meditation, creative expression, and ritual.
